Our
mission is to provide a church atmosphere where
"Love Reigns" and everyone's life
can be impacted by the power of God. Our church
is to be a place of freedom where we can freely
worship and praise our creator with people from
all walks of life. God is interested in the
whole man and desires for restoration to take
place in our spirit, soul and body. God has
called this church to be one of the many churches
through which He can bring renewal and fresh
anointing to the backslider as well as the newborn
Christian. We are a family church with a family
atmosphere. Our mission is to minister to the
whole family, young and old alike.
God
has called us out of the confines of our church
to reach into the community, the state, and
the world. Our mission is to reach the lost
in this community through as much personal ministry
to them as possible. This includes the Angel
Food program, nursing homes, street ministry,
jail ministry, and other outreach ministries
as the Lord directs. We are presently reaching
the world and the state by financially supporting
missions in various places in this country as
well as Guatemala, Albania, and Zimbabwe. We
also have a radio program called "Divine
Connection" which airs on Sunday mornings
from 9-9:15 on WJIE
short-wave, 7.490 MHz. This program
reaches all the way into the Middle East. Divine
Connection also airs in Sterling, Illinois at
8:00 am every Sunday morning on our local WSDR
radio (1240 am radio).
You
have a specific part to play! God has a plan
for your life and our mission is to help you
find out what that plan is and to develop you
in your ministry that you might fulfill God's
perfect will for your life! Our prayer is that
you find fulfillment in this body of believers
by stepping into your part of this great vision.
As a family, we are impacting lives by reaching
cities, states, and nations with the gospel
of Jesus Christ.

Pastor
Loren J. Schlomer
has a genuine passion for God and a deep love for God's
people. His life was completely transformed when he
met Jesus in 1973-and ever since, his burning desire
has been to introduce others to God and show them the
life-changing power of His Word. Pastor Loren's preaching
communicates God's love and grace while never compromising
the truth of God's Word. He has been in full time ministry
for over 20 years, serving as Assistant Pastor at Midwest
Cathedral in LaSalle, Illinois, before becoming the
Founder and Senior Pastor of Amazing Grace of Sterling,
Illinois. Pastor Loren is licensed and ordained with
Faith Christian Fellowship International, based in Tulsa,
Oklahoma, where he currently serves as the Illinois
state representative.
