Pastor Loren's message focused on the flesh of man and the struggle we have with it. We MUST put our flesh down; we need to kill our flesh so that our spirits can live and flourish in all that God has planned for us.
"Before there is a resurrection,
there has to be a death"
That's why baptism is so important; it is a public display of crucifying our flesh; putting it down and rising up fresh and new.

Many times problems on the outside come from problems on the inside and quite often we don't even know that those problems are there. Therefore, we must be open in our hearts to be changed. In this way, we become less flesh driven and more spirit driven.

During ministry, many came forward for a touch from God. There were healings, restorations, even our precious little ones were brought before the Lord for prayer.

God desires to touch all of His people no matter what the need - He is there! If you are looking for the reality of God in your life, then please join us here at Amazing Grace! God's presence is here and you will NOT leave unchanged!

Amazing Grace welcomed for the first time
Rev. Stephen Shorey.

Rev. Shorey is a true evangelist and came to us with a message full of fire and Holy Ghost anointing!
"God has sent His revival and it's time for everyone to start walking in it!"

Has God given you a vision; a glimpse of what He has in store for your life?
When God says "It shall be . . .", we must hold fast and not waver or doubt, no matter what the circumstances.

"If you ever see your 'shall be's',
you'll quit looking at your realities!"

All who came believing and expecting were not disappointed! God moved in a mighty way and ministered to all who came unto Him.

How do you make the devil flee in your life?
Submit yourselves unto God and to your Pastor!
"If you want to HAVE authority, you must be UNDER authority."
Obedience is what unlocks the blessings!

We thank Brother Steve for coming to minister to us and we thank God for all the mighty miracles He is doing here at Amazing Grace!

Pastor Loren continues his message on
"Who do you say that I am?"
Do you ever wonder why some people are always grumbling and complaining?
It's because they don't know Him and are not spending time with Him. When our time is spent with God, our hearts are full of joy, thanksgiving, praise and unity with our fellow brothers & sisters in the Lord.

According the 1 Kings 19:11-13, God can always be heard in that 'still, small voice'.
How do we hear that voice?
By spending time with Him. John 10:3-4 says that His sheep will know His voice and the voice of a stranger he will not follow.
Are you a child of God? Is He your Shepherd?
If so, then you WILL know His voice.

LISTEN TO THESE TESTIMONIES!

God touched this man on his very first visit to Amazing Grace. As God spoke to him to come to this church he was healed in his body and gives all glory to God!

During the evening service, Pastor Loren yielded to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to reign over the entire service.
People were healed physically, touched spiritually, encouraged emotionally.
We expect great and mighty things to come as a result!

Pastor Loren is ministering on
"Who do you say that I am?"
Who do you say that He is? Do you hear His voice when He speaks? Do you know Him intimately?
These are questions we should be asking ourselves.

What does it mean to know God?
It means we must be intimate with Him and the only way to do that is to become intimate with His Word.
Think of it as having a love affair with God.

During ministry, Pastor Loren called many forward as he was led by the Spirit of God. At Amazing Grace, we know the importance of allowing God to have His way with our service and to let Him move freely among the people, ministering by the Spirit.

During the evening message, Pastor Loren cautioned the congregation that it can be very easy for anyone to fall into snares of the devil; BUT God said He would deliver us from them all! Some of the snares that Pastor discussed were
1) a hardened heart, 2) Idolatry & 3) Jealousy.
"Be very cautious, this is not the time to get out from under God's protection as found in
Psalms 91".

What a great day for a picnic! It was a time to relax and enjoy the company of our church family members. Food in abundance and smile everywhere made for an outstanding afternoon.

Sunday, August 19, 2007
Rev. Chris D'Amico brings with him a powerful presence of the Holy Ghost to every meeting! His heart is to hear the voice of the Lord and to speak that voice to the church.

He told us that some people have lost their dreams and it's time to get those dreams back! But to bring those dreams to pass, you need to exercise you faith.
"A dream without faith is just a good thought".
Those dreams must be mixed with faith to bring about change and faith must be spoken to bring your dreams into reality.

What kept the 120 waiting in the upper room?
They were hungrier for God than everyone else!
Are you hungry for God? Then feed on His Word!
Are you thirsty for God? Then get into His presence!
NOW is the time!!

We thank Brother Chris for coming to minister to us and we look forward to his next return. May God's blessing be upon him and his ministry.

Amazing Grace is constantly growing! We set aside some time during the morning service for dedicating some of our newest members. Baby dedications are such an anointed time and it is something we do not take lightly. It is a serious commitment by the parents to raise up their children in a Christian environment and to teach them the ways of our Lord.

Pastor Loren's message was on "Blessing".
Happiness comes with blessing; however there are conditions to receiving those blessing as found in Deuteronomy 28: 1-2.
1) You have to LISTEN - be teachable
2) Be willing to OBSERVE - give respect to the Word
3) DO what is says - be a doer not just a hearer

During ministry, Pastor revealed by the spirit that this night was a turning point for many. And that turning point means that there is not going back, only forward!

Continuing his message on "Fear Not", Pastor turned the congregation to Psalms 91 which talks about that secret place; a place of protection and peace.

Do you know how to get to that secret place?
The key to that place is through our praise and our worship.

As Pastor Loren continues his series on Unity, he talked about the how our thought life can be used as a catalyst for the devil to bring about strife and division.
II Corinthians 10:5 talks about casting down those thoughts. We must always check our thoughts to see if they are in line with the Word of God.
"If you can't find scriptures to support that thought, then kick that thought out!"

God has always been into harmony and unity, so as long as we have that, we'll have His glory.
The more division we have, the less we'll have His glory.
"UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL"

Many people are facing giants in their lives. God does not want these giants to overcome us, He has given us the power to be overcomers in all situations.!
Listen to this testimony of a woman who prayed for her son and was instantly healed and confirmed with a dr's report.

The alter call led to Pastor's evening message:
FEAR NOT
We have to be "strong and of good courage" in these last days. In order to do that, we must stay in His presence. Josh 1: 5-9 gives us our 3-fold plan of attack:
1) Book of the Law shall not depart out of our mouth,
2) Meditate on the Word day and night,
(don't meditate on the problem)
3) Observe to do ALL.

What a great service with our guest speaker/singer Morris Mott!
Singer/songwriter of Faith Country music, Morris Mott, blessed us with songs from his new CD as well as some of the favorites from the past.

Brother Mott also ministered the Word. He compared us to the two parts of a thermostat:
Stop being the thermometer - speaking what your current conditions are.
Start being the thermostat - speak what you want it to be.
It's time we stop speaking ABOUT the mountain and start speaking TO the mountain!

During his music, he called up all the children for a special song complete with group participation.

Sunday, July 22, 2007
Continuing on the message of Unity, we find that we will never be outnumbered when we stay unified with each other. That really should be our #1 goal: to eliminate any strife in our homes and at church. Remember, we're not fighting each other, we're fighting the devil!

Just because we don't always agree with everything, doesn't mean we're not walking in unity.
Unity is an attitude!
Regardless of differences, we stick together anyway for one common purpose, one goal, in one accord.
The apostle Paul knew how important this concept was, that's how they were able to move in the supernatural miracles that they did.

The evening alter call was open to those who were fighting fear in some area of their life - God's wants to set us free from all fear! Fear will stop a person right in their tracks, and that is not what God wants for His people.

During the message, Pastor Loren continued in that realm and encouraged us all to stay strong and to not let fear get a stronghold on minds.
"It's time to trust the Lord. If we will walk out of this fear, we WILL see His blessing this year!"

Sunday, July 15, 2007
Pastor Loren has begun a new series on
"Ushering in the Glory".
"It's time for God's glory to come because the end is so near and we need to be ready"
We are that generation that will see His glory fall!

HOWEVER, there is one prerequisite - Unity!
Only those in one accord will participate in the outpouring. Just as it was in the upper room on the day of Pentecost, so will it be today.

Unity is the key!
We are all part of a body and all parts of that body must be working together in order for the body to function successfully. The same is true in the body of Christ.
In order to be in unity, we must be in one accord with each other. Even though there will always be some differences, we can all come together in agreement of our faith.

During a time of ministry during the evening service, many people were touched by His presence; backs, shoulders, and fevers were among the list of healings. Others received a "spiritual chiropractic adjustment".

Do you need healing in your life? Where it be spiritual, emotional or physical healing, you can find it here at Amazing Grace. Please come and experience His power and glory.

Today Pastor Loren concluded his message on
Casualty Covenant.
What opens up the door to casualty covenants?
Our own words. Too many people are too "body conscious" and speak more of what they feel in their body than what they believe in their spirit.

The best way to close those doors to casualty covenants is to find out what God wants you to do and do it! We must keep ourselves about our Father's business!

During the evening service, Pastor exhorted us to be aware of the signs of the times. Fear and terror are everywhere but we do not have to fall prey to that.
"We're not supposed to cope with fear, we're supposed to annihilate it! Jesus did not cope with the things of the devil, he destroyed them!"

BE READY!
BE AWARE!
PRAY ALWAYS!

We are about to enter the "No-Fear" zone!
