Pastor is begining a new message on
"The Power of Forgiveness".
When Jesus went to the cross, He purchased our forgiveness. However, Satan consistantly works to get one sliver of darkness into our hearts which consists of bitterness and unforgiveness.

The best way to keep our bitterness and unforgiveness out of our hearts is to communicate and confront the issues that try to attack us.

"If we don't forgive, He won't forgive. It wasn't an option for Jesus and it isn't an option for us".

Discouragement can hit anyone, even Christians. Pastor Loren had an alter call for anyone struggling in this area. God is our strength and our refuge; let us always hold on to Him and His Word when times of discouragement try to hit!

The evening message brought to a conclusion the story of Jonah. By learning lessons from Jonah, we all could ask ourselves these questions:
- If God was speaking to us, would we be listening?
- Do we miss our deliverance because we're not open to correction?
- Are we doing what God called us to do or are we too busy complaining about all the work we have to do?
- Are we just looking out for ourselves or are we more concerned with the lost?
Life lessons from the Bible are the best!

"Three Wise Men & A Baby"
was presented by the children and adults of Amazing Grace. If you've never seen one of our plays, you're missing out on an extraordinary event! After months of practice, this performance was the best. From the choir of angels, to King Herod, to the wise men's wit and humor everything was done with excellence!

The Christmas story was told to us by Gruffy the Bear and the Narrator from the Jungle.

After the performance, everyone gathered in the lower auditorium for punch and cookies and congratulated the entire cast for a job well done!

Pastor Loren continued his message on Prayer & Fasting. As we know, anything that is good for us, the devil will always try to talk us out of it!
Fasting will always bring unity and unity in the church is the key to fulfilling the vision.

With the upcoming elections, there has never been a more crucial time to be in tune with the spirit as to the important decisions we will be making. Now is the time to be stepping up our efforts in this area of prayer and fasting! The future of our nation may depend on it!!

The evening service was devoted entirely to ministry. Pastor Loren called many people forward as he was led by the Spirit. As the Spirit moved among the people the alters were flooded with even more people seeking God's touch in their lives.

We are such a blessed country! That is something we should never loose sight of, although too often life's distractions can cloud those blessings. As an assignment to us all, we should take a few moments and write down the many things we are thankful for before we enter into our prayer closet.

Someone with a thankful attitude will always be content where they're at. If you're always striving to have something bigger, better, or what the neighbors have, you'll never be content and therefore will probably never get to where God wants you to be. Be thankful in the little things and God will bless you with bigger things!

During an alter call, Pastor Loren spoke about this season of flus & colds and and that as children of God, we should not be subject to those things. We should be walking under His divine protection and healing. Many came forward for a "spiritual flu shot".

Pastor had been preaching in the evening services about how to get out of bad circumstances.
Our lesson came from Jonah.
So how exactly did Jonah get out of his circumstance? To start, Jonah cried out to God and God heard him.
When we cry out to him, He will surely hear us too!

Rev. Terry Tripp's visit here was such a rich blessing!
He first ministered to us with music from his variety of CD's which brought us all into the presence of God. Afterwards the Word went forth in his teachings that were outstanding; full of power and revelation!

His message was on "Covenant Benefits" Those covenant benefits are found in the secret place that we find in Psalms 91. But where exactly is that secret place? It is found in the Blood of Jesus! And it is in that blood that the devil was DISARMED!

But how does a disarmed enemy get to us?
Only through natural circumstances and reports. And the only way the enemy can win is when we put more trust in those circumstances than we do in the Word of God.
So what do we do?
WE DON'T BELIEVE WHAT THE ENEMY SAYS!!

What is the key that ignites all of our covenant benefits? It is found in the second verse of Psalms 91:
"I will SAY. . . ."
It's all in the words that we speak!

Pastor Loren shows us that fasting is a spiritual act of physically taking control of our flesh. If we really want to experience God, then we must have full control of ourselves, and that especially includes our BODY.

The things that takes us away from God are the things that have taken control of our flesh. Therefore, fasting can be applied to other areas besides just food; how about TV, the Internet, etc.?
What do you spend the most time on each day?

During ministry, Pastor Loren called many forward as he was led by the spirit.

Afterwards, he continued his evening message series on "How to Get out of Bad Circumstances".
Another cause of bad circumstances is dishonesty & lack of integrity.
Remember, you WILL reap what you sow.

Pastor took us to the book of Jonah to learn from the circumstances he found himself in. Next week we will see how Jonah got out of those circumstances.
If Jonah can get out of his, certainly we can get out of ours!!

Continuing his message on Fasting & Prayer, Pastor Loren explains the reason for fasting; it is to get closer to Him. When that happens, there is also an attitude of repentance which opens us up to God's instruction, correction, and direction.

Once we are open and are receiving from Him, we can begin to make those necessary changes in our lives. Whatever the situations are in your life,
God will always get you through and pull you out.
He's there to help if we will only open ourselves up and allow Him lead us - that is how fasting and prayer will work in your life.

The evening service began with a time of ministry for all those wanting a fresh touch from the Lord. One young lady came forward and received Jesus into her life!
That is what church is all about - reaching souls and seeing the Kingdom of God continue to grow!

After the service, we had a time of fellowship in the lower auditorium to pay honor to our Pastors during Pastor Appreciation month.
We love and appreciate them so very much! They are a blessing to us all and a true shepherd to all of us at Amazing Grace!

Today's message is entitled "Changing our Nation". We as believers are responsible for the future of this country. In fact, we have the power to change the course of our nation if all Christians would come together in unity and stand up for what is morally, ethically and biblically correct.

We need to be praying NOW for the upcoming elections, we can't wait until 2008. Prayer will be necessary for Christians to make right decisions regarding the future of our country.

After a time of ministry, Pastor began a new series on Prayer & Fasting, which flowed right in hand with the mornings message. When fasting, you're dealing with your flesh and that is when the Lord will teach and instruct us. Our attitude while fasting should be
"Lord, teach me"

As Pastor Loren explained, "There are many frustrated people in the world because God didn't make THEIR plans work. Then they blame God for things not working out." The problem is that people follow their own ways and not God's ways. The key is to be open to His ways, His plans and not our own.

How can we hear from God?
If you really want to hear from God, you'll have to get rid of your own personal opinions and listen to God's opinions. Those opinions can always be found in His Word.

During ministry, Pastor Loren allowed the Holy Spirit to move as he called up people for prayer as he was led by the spirit. Then all those needing healing in their bodies were called to the alter.

Pastor began his evening service message entitled: Burning with Conviction - NO compromise!
Which do you love more?
The world and the 'things' in it or
God and the things of Him.
God certainly does want us to have fun in our lives,
but not when we put those things before God.
We refuse to sell out to the world!!

Today Pastor Loren's message went in depth about baptism and it's importance to each and every one of us.
"Before something can live, it must first die"
When we receive Christ in our lives, our old man dies and a new man in Christ is born. Baptism is an outward symbol of that new birth. The old man is washed away so the new man can live.

During the evening service, our praise team led us into the very presence of God. The anointing was as strong and powerful as it has ever been! Many came forward to be touch by His wonderful presence.

In today's society, God's protection is more important than ever. That protection can be found in Psalms 91. If you've strayed away from His presence, then you're in a very dangerous place! His protection is there for His children, but we need to stay and abide under His wings.
"If you set your love upon the world, you'll get the world's results; but if you put your love on Him, you'll get His results."

Amazing Grace is a place where miracles happen!
This young woman came with headaches and left without them!
