“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord”

      Ps. 134:2

“Thus I will bless Thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in Thy name" Ps. 63:4

“I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” 1 Tim. 2:8

Why do we lift our hands?

Why do we stand to sing?

“And the Levites . . . of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise

the Lord God of Isreal with a loud voice of high”   2 Chron. 20:19

“After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb . . . and cried with a loud voice, saying Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb”   Rev. 7:9-10

What is dancing before the Lord?

“Praise him with the timbrel and dance”  Psalms 150:4

“We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced”  Matt. 11:17.

Why do we sing in English and in tongues?

“For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the understanding also”  1 Cor. 14:14-15

Why do we have speaking in tongues and those
interpretations in the church?

“Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues”
1 Cor. 14:39

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal . . . To another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues” 1 Cor. 12:7,10

“I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying”

1 Cor. 14:5

“If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most three, and that by course, and let one interpret”  1 Cor. 14:27

What is being slain in the Spirit?

“The priests could not stand to minister for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God”
11 Chron. 5:13-14

“And he fell to the earth”  Acts 9:4

Is healing for everyone today?

“For I am the Lord that healeth thee”  Ex. 15:26.

“These signs shall follow them that believe. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover”   Mark 16:17-18.
